"REMINDERS FOR FALL 2017 STUDENT TEACHING"

 

 

August 28 -First Day of Student Teaching. All must report to Career  

                    Development Day in Student Union Social Hall at 8:15 a.m.

                   (Students in NYC-SUTEC WILL not attend)

August 29-Meet with Supervisors and/or help your mentors set up the

                    Classroom at your school site

August 30-ALL MUST ATTEND edTPA Orientation workshop Butler 210

                    (Students in NYC-SUTEC WILL not attend)

SPRING 2018 MANDATORY STUDENT TEACHER ORIENTATION

ORIENTATION FOR SPRING 2018 STUDENT TEACHING

If you are student teaching in the SPRING of 2018 you must attend one of the following sessions in order to apply for student teaching. Note: GPA MUST BE AT LEAST 2.5. If you have any questions contact Rosemary Arioli, Director of Student Teaching at Ariolir@buffalostate.edu.

September 20       or      September 22

3:00-5:00 p.m.                9:00-11:00 a.m.

Who should attend? Seniors in the following MAJORS UNDERGRADUATE CED,

ECE, ECC, CEN, CMT, CSS, CFR, CSH, CIT, EXE AND GRADUATE MIITC

What should we bring? Come prepared to fill out the student teaching orientation application, bring your updated degree works, a copy of a recent resume and a notepad to take notes.

Student Teaching in Houston, Texas

Buffalo State has partnered with the Houston Independent and Aldine School Districts to provide unique opportunities for teacher candidates to teach in Houston, Texas. Candidates expand their education with an authentic experience focused on cultural and language diversity, are paired with oustanding cooperating teachers, and jump-start their careers and skill sets as educators.
